If your website is not responsive, you could be losing out on business.

For example, Google has reported that 67% of users are more likely to buy from a mobile-friendly site, while 50% of people said that even if they like a business, they will use them less often if the website isn’t mobile-friendly. Google now also identifies mobile-friendly sites in their search results.

Meanwhile, a study by Hibu found that 90% of SMEs don’t have a mobile-optimised website and, as a result, are missing out on £77bn in annual revenue. Additionally, it was also revealed that mobile sales are currently worth £2.5bn to SMEs, yet only 13% plan to get a mobile-optimised site in the next 12-18 months. 45% of businesses believe that their annual revenues could increase by 3.5% if their website was optimised for mobile transactions, equating to an average of £23,793 extra turnover annually.

Using analytics services such as Google Analytics shows that bounce rates from mobile and tablet users decrease significantly on responsive websites.
